Only the best, freshest flavors tease the palates of Orchid Island Members.  On staff, Executive Chef, Chris Sozio, has the philosophy of Farm to Table, and unless there is a circumstance in which he cannot, he always buys from local farmers and supports sustainability.  He was taught early on in his career to buy only the best ingredients, locally when possible, and to cook from scratch. To follow his roots, Chef’s vision is to have his very own herb garden in our Florida gated community, where he will grow his own basil, rosemary and thyme, among other fresh herbs.  Some of the local farms Chef Sozio purchases from are listed below.

Amidst the holidays, there is no time to stop and smell the roses.  From Sous, prep and front of the line cooks to the whole food and beverage team, everyone is working around the clock to ensure only the best cuisine delights for our Members.

Fine Wine While You Dine
To compliment Orchid Island’s fine cuisine and innovative dishes, this season we have a new, progressive wine list that features wines from light bodied to fuller bodied. The wine list features a variety of fine tasting reds and whites and also highlights Fine Wines for $39. Throughout the season, members enjoy Fine Wine Affair Dinner events showcasing premiere wineries from around the world.  The first Fine Wine Affair will take place on January 17, 2018 showcasing Beaulieu Vineyard of Napa Valley. 

Orchid Island, a gated community in Florida, offers Members three captivating dining venues - all within a short golf cart ride away. Whether it's a poolside lunch at the Pool Grille, a casual dinner at the Golf Club or a more upscale culinary experience at the Beach Club, Chef’s masterful selections are guaranteed to please.
